I’m January. A website architect by design, systems builder by nature.

Growing up, I always wished there was a little more magic in the world. In a life largely governed by data, structure, and numbers, discovering that creativity and technology could coexist felt like the closest thing to it. What started as curiosity eventually became something much deeper, a way of thinking, building, and creating that continues to shape the work I do today.

Looking back, I’m grateful I had the opportunity to explore creativity from so many different angles at a young age. From experimenting with Autodesk Maya, Photoshop, and Java applications to working with traditional charcoal painting, each experience became an unexpected foundation for the work I do now through Procreate, Affinity, Figma, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, web development, and UX design.

Over time, those seemingly unrelated interests naturally came together.

Today, I approach websites as more than just visual experiences. I enjoy building platforms that feel intentional, structured, and capable of evolving alongside the people who use them. Whether I’m designing a frontend experience or developing systems that support a growing library of programs and users behind the scenes, I’m always thinking about how everything connects and how it can continue to scale thoughtfully over time.

In many ways, I’ve come to see my role as both an architect and an engineer within the digital space. Someone who not only helps shape the experience people see, but also builds the structure quietly supporting it underneath.

Every project, whether personal or professional, small or large, has contributed to how I think and work today. More than anything, I’ve grown to appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with people across different industries, disciplines, and parts of the world. Those experiences have continuously expanded the way I approach both creativity and problem-solving.

One quote I deeply resonate with comes from Simon Sinek:

“Passion alone can’t cut it. For passion to survive, it needs structure. A WHY without a HOW has little probability of success.”

That idea has stayed with me throughout my career.

Visionaries often carry the ideas and the WHY behind what they want to build. I aspire to be the person who helps bring the HOW to life.
